Well we're back in Kununurra enjoying the warm weather. Sorry to all you freezing in Perth and Kalgoorlie.

Having a blast in Kal. We just went to see the blasting at the superpit. They set two of. It certainly made the earth move for me.

Menzies, Lake Ballard

' Inside Australia 'installation by Antony Gormley on Lake Ballard. There are 51 statues made from cast iron and other bits. We were there about lunch time. Would like to see them on a full moon, sunrise and sunset.

Bens birthday

Had Ben round for his birthday. Cooked a roast pork and he ate all his vegies even the cauliflower. No cheesecake. Nothing to make it in or with so he made do with apple pie.

Cape Le Grande in Esperance

We went to Esperance for the long weekend. A very pretty town. On Saturday we did the West coast drive visiting all the beaches along the way. The weather managed to stay fine but grey. Not the best for photos of the beautiful coast.

On Sunday we went to Cape Le Grande and visited more beautiful beaches. Whitest sand that squeaks when walked on ( I do the same). We'd like to see it in summer and camp for a few days. People were actually swimming but too cold for us wussies.
