Not much water up here on the water holes.

Took the world famous "ridge top tour" 41/2 hours in the back of a landcruiser ute.The last climb is scarey. At the top we had lamingtons and coffee. The view was awesome. The tyres last 3000kms on these utes. Rough rock all the way.

The haze in the background is the silca from the lake nearby. The view was spectacular.

13th September Coward springs

Picked up a few extra passengers along the track

The overflow from the natural spa a Coward springs. No photo of spa because  it was being hogged by 2 blokes.

All along the track we visited the train station ruins and said "Why don't they restore them?" Well at Coward springs they have. Nice spot to camp.

12th September 2013 Oodnadatta track North creek stop.

Stuck behind a truck and this is all you see. He was very kind and eventually let us through. 40 kms out of Oodnadatta we saw a box on the track and stopped. It was a new towel rail. Put it in the car. Few more kms another bigger box. The new basin for the bathroom. Look out for the bath could be dangerous. What we really need for Leeman is a glass shower screen.

The famous pink roadhouse where we handed in the rail and basin.

A few repairs and a few hangers on at North creek bush camp.

Old Ghan railway crossing. Yes we slept under the bridge.
