Bedourie has a pool and Artesian fed hot spa. Just what a traveller needs at the end of the trip.

No.3 Bore. This was near where Burke and Wills crossed the area. This steam engine was used to develop the bore but too hard and costly to take it back, so they left it there.

Old stone house where Mrs Jones lived. The coolroom was utilised by mums and their newborns to keep cool. There were up to to 18 in there one time.

Mt Isa underground hospital dug after the bombing of Darwin by the Japanese. Mt Isa was a target as it was supplying all the copper.
